Jarkko Ruutu The Biter

What exactly was going through Jarko Ruutu's mind when he bit Buffalo's Andrew Peters? The guy must have a few screw loose in that crazy mind of his. I don't know what's more ridiculous, the fact that Ruutu actually bit another player or that Peters was given two minutes for an unsportsmanlike conduct. They both disgust me. There's no place in hockey for actions like that. Ruutu has always had a reputation for being a somewhat dirty player, but talk about crossing the line. Even more infuriating is Ruutu's reaction to the reporters questions about him biting Peter's. Someone needs to smack that smirk off his face. The NHL better come down hard on him. If Sean Avery can get suspended for mentioning the fact that Dion Phaneuf is enjoying his sloppy seconds, then Jarko Ruutu most definitely is deserving a suspension. For how long? Tough to say, I don't recall the NHL ever having to deal with a player biting somebody. Disgraceful.

There's Crosby the Diver and now i guess Ruutu the Biter.

Absolutely inexcusable.

Sean Avery might be a dirtbag, but at least he never bit anybody..
